How long will it be before we can have our wedding film?

You will normally receive your film within 8-10 weeks from your wedding day although this may be longer during peak season or sooner during the winter months.

When will you arrive on the wedding day?

I always arrive at least an hour and a half before the ceremony. I make sure I arrive earlier to get the necessary pre-wedding shots to compliment your film, speak to your vicar/registrar, perform sound checks, plan my positioning and be there for the first guest arriving!

Do you expect to be fed on the day?

Unlike the majority of videographers, I feel it is unfair to you to pay this unnecessary cost. I will eat my own packed lunch during your wedding breakfast and then I can begin preparing for the speeches during the final courses of your meal. Although, if you wish to provide me with a meal or snack I am always extremely grateful.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. I require a £100 non-refundable deposit to secure your date.

How far in advance should we book?

Bookings are being taken as far as 2 years in advance and as close as 2 days in advance but it is always advisable to secure your date as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. I am usually fully booked for popular summer dates months in advance but I often have dates available at short notice too.

Which areas do you cover?

My immediate areas of cover include Sheffield, Leeds, Nottingham, Lincoln, Worksop, Doncaster, Barnsley, Rotherham, Chesterfield and the surrounding areas of South Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. If you require me beyond a 50 mile radius of S26 7XZ there will be an additional charge of 50p per mile.

Can we choose the music?

Yes. As long as this is provided before your wedding day I will use your chosen music throughout the film. I will require about 6-8 chosen songs of varying styles (slow, upbeat etc) which I will then fit to the emotions of the day. If you do not provide me with any songs before the wedding day I will use my professional experience to choose music that compliments your wedding day. However, if you prefer to give me a general idea of the type of music you like (e.g. 80's soft rock), I will use my own discretion to fit this style to your film.

How many cameras do you use?

I use two cameras throughout the day (three in the Luxe package) I use an additional unmanned camera during the service, speeches and first dance as it's important for me to capture each aspect of your wedding ceremony from the best possible angles. Don't worry, you will not notice us (I am definitely not the paparazzi) and I pride myself on being as discreet as possible.

Are you discreet?

YES! I will always maintain my discretion. Clients often say how they never noticed I was there.

What is the duration of the final film?

Your highlights feature film will last approximately anywhere between 15 and 30 minutes depending on your chosen package. Your ceremony, speeches and first dance (which I film in full duration) will last the same length as they did on the day, if you opt for the Satin or Silk Package.

How many copies do we get?

You will receive one copy on USB flash drive in a beautiful keepsake box.

Where is our USB playable?

Your USB will be playable on smart TVs and DVD players as well as laptops and computers. We will also email your wedding highlights feature film to you for playback on your smartphones and tablets etc.

Can we order more copies?

I keep a master copy of your wedding film for 12 months so additional copies can be provided. Simply email or phone me and I will ship your copies as soon as payment is received. Additional USB presentation boxes can also be provided as well as copies on DVD and HD Blu Ray.

Can I upload my wedding film to Facebook?

Yes! For the Satin & Silk Packages we create an additional 2 minute highlight film for uploading to social media.
